Very cosy and good in all conditions. Described by the manufacturer as 'a versatile thermal mid layer that also provides waterproof and windproof protection. In lighter conditions this performance garment can also be worn as an outer layer as the breathable fabric is fully seam taped. Warmth is provided by the compact synthetic insulation that wont hold water and remains warm even when wet.'

Really versatile soft shell mif layer jacket that can be worn as an outer layer as well. Warm, insulated and in great condition. Two main pockets and a small pocket on one arm.
These are ideal for colder days/nights and fit well under Clipper foulies to give a great layer of warmth and comfort. The zips and straps are a little tired looking but everything is in full working order.

It's a Gortex drysuit with seals at the neck and wrists and it's designed to be worn as a layer between midlayers and your 'shell'. It weighs less than 1kg and fits in a very small bag - also comes with a Ursuit beanie. It is in very good condition only being used for one week on leg 4, in the 17/18 Clipper Race. It is very comfortable and not only keeps you completely dry, including your feet, but also warm. I would really recommend a mid-layer dry-suit. Henri Lloyd Elite Mid layer Jacket & salopettes. Excellent midlayers; very warm but light. Used on legs 2 and 3 in 2015/16 race and they kept me warm and dry.
Very good condition; small scratch on the back of the jacket but won't affect performance. Cost over £300 new, so a bargain for someone on the 2017/18 race.  If you are on the cold legs, then these mid layers are a must! The people who stayed the warmest, longest were the people in the Gore-Tex mid layers! I purchased a pair, but unfortunately due to a delay they never arrived in time for my departure and therefore they have never been worn!
